After a one year break from participating in awards I decided to enter the final pictures from my Reality Rearranged series into this years Prix De La Photographie Paris.
Today I'm very excited to announce that my series was awarded third place in the Fine Art/Digitally Enhanced category! This marks the fourth time my work has been awarded in PX3.
Px3 is juried by top international decision-makers in the photography industry and the jury selected PX3 2016’s winners from thousands of photography entries from over 85 countries. For more information and to view all the winning photographs, please visit http://px3.fr
Men's depression, with the stigma and stereotypes surrounding it, is something I have personal experience of, and something I feel strongly is a very important issue that I wish to get more involved in and work actively with.
HeadsUpGuys is an organization working with these issues and right now they are doing a photography campaign to raise awareness of depression in men and what you can do to battle it. I, together with five other, amazing, artists, have contributed work to this campaign.
Check out the campaign and their excellent web site here!
This one I call "Ingress". You You can view it larger in the gallery.
I am very happy to announce that my work is featured in the latest issue of Black and White Magazine! If you cannot pick up a print copy, you can check out the article online here: www.bandwmag.com/articles/tommy-ingberg-rearranging-reality
